MGC Community Print Studio is an affordable, professional workspace where artists at every stage of their journey can learn, create, and advance the art of printmaking. Our fully-equipped studio fosters an inclusive community of makers dedicated to both craft and creative expression.
 

As the community counterpart to PHA’s Printshop, MGC extends PHA’s fabrication services by serving as a teaching and learning lab. We offer facilities and expert guidance in intaglio, relief, lithography, and screen printing, nurturing both technical skill and artistic exploration. In this new chapter, MGC is part of an expanded creative ecosystem—while staying true to its roots as a dynamic, accessible community studio.

Located on the 6th floor overlooking the Gowanus Canal, our calm, bright studio features expansive windows with stunning views of downtown Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan. The environment is designed to support focused, creative work, with a collaborative culture that encourages knowledge-sharing among a diverse community of artists.

MGC is equipped with specialized tools and staffed by expert technicians, making it an ideal space for experienced printmakers to deepen their practice. Health and safety are a priority, with fresh air ventilation, dust extraction, and equipment designed to support physically intensive processes.
